ARAB OPEN UNIVERSITY (AOU) NON-EXCLUSIVE DISTRIBUTION LICENSE
 
By signing and submitting this license, you (the author(s) and/or copyright holder) hereby grant the Arab Open University (AOU) a non-exclusive, worldwide, perpetual license to reproduce, translate (as defined below), store, manage, and/or distribute your submission (including metadata, abstract, and supplementary materials) in any format (print, electronic, digital, audio, or visual) for academic, preservation, archival, or public access purposes.
 
1. Rights Granted
•	AOU is permitted to translate the submission to any medium or format, without altering its content, strictly for the purposes of long-term digital preservation, accessibility, and security in accordance with ISO/IEC 27001 controls on backup, media handling, and data lifecycle management.
•	AOU may retain multiple secure copies of your submission for purposes including, but not limited to, redundancy, disaster recovery, and business continuity, as required by ISO 27001 controls.
 
2. Author's Representations
You affirm the following:
•	The work is your original creation, and you have the full authority to grant the rights in this license.
•	The submission does not violate any third-party copyright, confidentiality, or data protection rights.
•	If your submission includes third-party content, you have obtained the necessary permissions and have properly cited or acknowledged such content.
 
3. Third-Party Sponsorship and Compliance
If the work is derived from or funded by a third party (e.g., a research agency, institution, or grant body), you confirm that:
•	All contractual or legal obligations for publication or distribution have been met.
•	The submission adheres to any data classification, labeling, or export control restrictions.
 
4. Data Security and Access Control
AOU will handle your submission in accordance with its Information Security Management System (ISMS) and enforce access control mechanisms that align with your submission's classification level (e.g., public, internal, confidential).
 
5. Attribution and Integrity
•	AOU will acknowledge you as the author or copyright owner of the work.
•	AOU will not modify the content, except as allowed under this license and for preservation or metadata enhancement purposes.
